NEW CALL: Lets Scrap DT Call

We are putting a CALL OUT for 4 Design Team Members!
The DT's would be responsible to do one sketch a week for a 3 month commitment (June -August) and be actively involved on the letsscrap.ning.com site.
If you are interested, please email your favorite layout to dance@tekstar by May 22nd with your email address, name, and your blog that include some of your layouts.
The 4 chosen Design Team Members will be notified on May 25th


NEW CALL: Scrap and Stamp Saturday Design Team Call

Deadline: Friday, May 15, 2009

WHAT WE REQUIRE:
(1) Each DT applicant MUST have an active blog and make regular posts
(2) Submit five projects with the following themes:

- One 12x12 layout about yourself (this will help us get to know you better!)
- Project with Vacation theme
- Project with Summer theme
- Project with Special Moments theme
- Project with a Monochromatic theme

You can do any type of project you want, but keep in mind that each of the five submissions MUST clearly have both scrapbooking and stamping incorporated into it. Those that do not will not be considered. Be creative - show us what you've got!!!!

(3) Any prior DT experience and current DT experience should be included in submission
(4) Full name, geographic location, blog address, and any galleries where you upload your work
(5) A paragraph explaining why you want to be a part of the Scrap and Stamp Design Team
***All DT submissions should be emailed to scrapandstampsaturday@gmail.com and be received by Melissa and Alex no later than midnight, 15 May 2009. Those chosen will be notified no later than Saturday, 23 May. The first challenge will be held on 6 June, with all DT projects due in by midnight PST on the 4th.***

RESPONSIBILITIES IF SELECTED:
(1) Have submitted projects to us by Thursday at midnight PST prior to the challenge Saturday
(2) Arrange ahead of time if you have something scheduled that will prohibit you from participating in a given challenge. We know life happens! However, if you fail to notify us and miss two postings, you will be dropped from the team as it would be unfair to the rest of the team who IS participating
(3) Have your project and write-up for the challenge uploaded and posted on your blog by 10am EST. Your post should include links to the site as well as to your fellow DT members
(4) List the DT team on your blog on your sidebar and display the DT site blinkie
(5) Commitment is for six months starting June through December 2009.

THE BENEFITS:
(1) You will receive a DT site blinkie to display on your blog
(2) The site will clearly display your name and a link to your blog
(3) The chance to share your creativity with others
(4) Meet new people and share ideas
(5) No compensation at this time except what our sponsors provide in the way of advertising their product. Any such provision will be mailed to the DT member well in advance of that challenge week.

NEW CALL: Rusty Pickle "amazing race" DT Call

Deadline: Sunday, May 31, 2009

Good news! Rusty Pickle is looking to expand our elite design team!
Ten finalists will be chosen to run an "amazing race" where their talent (and ability to function on minimal sleep ;)) will be put to the test. Of these ten finalists, five will be chosen to join the Rusty Pickle team.

The deadline for entry is Sunday May 31st at 12 noon Mountain Standard time.
Please submit the following 3 projects for consideration: (1) 2-page 12x12 layout, an altered project and a mini album 8x8 or smaller with at least 6 pages.
Projects must contain 100% Rusty Pickle product to qualify.
Email all entries to: amazingrace@rustypickle.com.

Please limit one email per contestant with 1 project image of the layout, 1 project image of the altered project and one compilation image (six images) of the album (this compilation can be done using photo-editing software). The images are to be no more than 700 x 700 pixels. In the subject line put only your name.

The ten finalists will be announced Friday, June 5th at 12 noon.

*Clarification on the 100% Rusty Pickle Product requirement* You can use paint, ink, thread, pens, cardstock, etc. Just make sure if RP makes a version of something, you use that. For example, Rusty Pickle makes bling, so use that instead of another manufacturer's. Rusty Pickle does not manufacture paint, glimmer mist, ink, thread, pens, etc. so you are okay to use those items on your projects.


NEW CALL: Life-Scrappers Digi Designers call

Life-Scrappers.com is looking for new Designers!
Sadly, family life has caused two vacancies in our Store, and we were already looking for more Designers! Are you a Designer in need of a new or additional store home?

Advantages and Requirements:
* 75/25 payout (minus paypal fees)
* No exclusive designers
* Only need 1 new product added a month (kit, pack, bragbook page, etc)
* Collab. kit participation required only once every 3 months (more, if you're able) {Collab kits are usually biblical in theme}
* Minimum Forum duties
* Completely safe, clean and wholesome atmosphere
* If you'd enjoy being in a Christ-centered Store, this call is for you!

- Your name, Designer name (if different), and email
- A short paragraph about yourself and why you'd like to work @ Life Scrappers
- Links to all stores you sell at, if applicable - A link to any online galleries, resume, blog, etc. where I can see additional work
- If you don't sell in any stores, please send a zip of around 5 papers and 10 elements - your best original digital designs (no commercially-used products, please... NOTE: You will be allowed to sell kits that use commercial-use items, but I want to see what you can do all on your own...ACCEPTABLE for use: brushes, actions, scripts, plug-ins (all only if it's altered enough to be "your own"), at 4 shared or other similar download site
If I like what I see, you will be invited to make a mini kit, to go with our upcoming monthly collab.
