NEW CALL: Whimsical Scraps & Bugs - DT Call
Deadline: Thursday, September 17, 2009
We are currently accepting submissions for the Whimsical Scraps & Bugs Design Team.
This is a three (3) month comittment beginning October 1st thru December 31st, 2009. Final submission date will be September 17th.
For DT Submissions we are looking for 5 to 7 good pics of the applicants best work. They can be pics of layouts, cards, altered items, etc
Requirements for Design Team Members are as follows:
1. Must have a Cricut Machine (or access to one) as we require use of Cricut cuts in each of our challenges/projects and you MUST be willing to "think outside the box"....
2. Must have an active blog where you can post your work (after its posted for the DT) and actively promote the Whimsical Scraps & Bugs Design Team. Your blog must be a place of encouragement and inspiration to others.
3. We do bi-weekly challenges... once completed you would need to email a pic and instructions to the DT email so it can be posted to the blog. Once it's posted to the DT blog you may then post it to your own blog. When you post it to your own blog you will be required to link it to the DT blog.
4. Participation is required in each challenge... you are also encouraged to comment on the other members work (in a positive manner)....
5. We do accept international DT Members.... we also encourage non-members to participate in our bi-weekly challenges and submit their work to be posted on our blog as well.
6. Our challenges consist of color challenges, shape challenges, layout challenges, card challenges, altered items, using your scraps challenges, as well as various other types of challenges.
7. We do have ocassional sponsors and at times are able to offer prizes based on various contests that we hold within the Design Team.
8. We also ask for a small personal bio with a photo ~ if selected this will be posted on our Member site which is linked to our DT blog.
