NEW CALL: myStampBOX Design Team Call

Deadline: Friday, September 11, 2009

myStampBOX is searching for additional members for their design team. We are interested in designers with a variety of styles who can creatively showcase myStampBOX designs in their cards, altered art and scrapbook layouts. No previous design team experience is necessary.

Team requirements:
* 4 projects per month
* 1 blog entry per month including photos of a project and instructions/tutorial
* Upload all projects to the myStampBox website gallery and 2 other online galleries
* Submit at least 4 projects per term for submission to print magazines of your choice
* Occasional help with additional design opportunities - new stamp sets, classes, newsletters, etc.
Team benefits:
*bio and picture on the website, with links to your blog
*a starter kit of stamp sets and additional stamp sets throughout your term
*other free scrapbooking supplies from product partners as they become available
*30% discount on purchased myStampBox stamps during your term

Term is 6 months, beginning October 1, 2009

NEW CALL: 52 Sketches 52 Weeks Design Team Call

Deadline: Sunday, September 13, 2009

Do you love using sketches to jump-start your layouts? 52 Sketches 52 Weeks, a rapidly growing sketch challenge site & online community, is seeking 6 - 10 design team members for a term lasting from October 4th, 2009 to January 3rd, 2010 (although new DT members will not technically be starting until October 4th, if chosen, you will be receiving your first 2 sketches on September 18th & they will be due to me by October 2nd)

The Responsibilities:
* Create 2 layouts every 4 weeks (you will be given these approximately 2 weeks prior to their due date)
* Meet deadlines for submitting layouts
* Provide 2 mini tutorials (topic of your choice) during your term to be shared with our members in our forum. As stated this is a "mini" tutorial - something quick & fun to share for added inspiration.
* Participate ACTIVELY and REGULARLY in our online community (http://www.52sketches52weeks.ning.com/ ) by commenting on layouts, welcoming new members, and participating in our forum.
The Perks:
* The opportunity to be part of this fun, friendly, up & coming sketch site & community.
* A design team blinkie to add to your blog & your signature (where allowed).
* A few scrappy goodies will be mailed out to design team members at the end of each completed month for all your hard work.

How to Apply:
All you need to do is choose one of our 2009 sketches and give us your take on it. All sketches can be found in our online community (www.52sketches52weeks.ning.com). International scrappers are welcome to apply. We are searching for all types of scrappy styles on our team - the most important thing is to be creative!!

* List of DTs you are currently on (if any) - this will not affect our decision, just purely for our interest
* Your sample layout & the sketch number it is based from

NEW CALL: Note~able-Sketch Contest

It’s time for another contest here at Note~able!

This time around we are doing a sketch contest! Show us your version of the sketch which can be found on our blog and include some type of journaling item and you could win one of our kits!

The winner may choose from our May, June, July or our upcoming September kit.
To qualify you must also have at least 15 posts on our message board by the end of the contest period.

And… If you like what you’ve seen and heard, and you desire to create art that is not only challenging, but out of the box with some of the industries best designers, then look no further… We are looking for a few talented artists, 6 – 7 to be exact!… Could you be one of them?…

Are you moving towards the “top of your game” in mixed media? Are you ever evolving, changing, and excited about learning and growing as a creative soul? Are you practically fearless at playing with any art material you see and touch, and trying any art technique you read about? Does 3-D art excite you? Does your style and taste run “artsy and eclectic”? Do you get as jazzed by “the process” of art making (the journey), as you do “the product” (the destination)?

If this sounds like you, and you are proficient with taking excellent pictures of your work (details too), can inspire others with your art and words, are deadline savvy, and are OK with being exclusive to our kit club (manufacturers, etc… are fine)? Call Timeline – Entries accepted from August 24, 2009 through September 14, 2009, 12 midnight PST. Entries will be acknowledged with an e-mail as we get them, so you know we got them. All entries will be reviewed carefully, and all selected Design Team candidates will be contacted by e-mail, on or before September 18, 2009. The “Project 52” Design Team will be announced on the Bad Girls site on September 21, 2009.

Application Deadline – September 14, 2009, 12 midnight PST. (No exceptions)

2). Headshot – Black & white, and nice and clear.

3). Artwork – 3 varied items… All mixed media… Think artist trading cards, shadow boxes, shrines, art dolls, collages, VERY ARTSY scrapbook pages, handmade books, altered books and items, etc… (We want to see the really artsy stuff you do!… Show us what you already have in your stash of work that you know will WOW us, and that shows us what you can offer “Project 52”!)

4). Gallery or slideshow link – One gallery or slideshow with more of your best altered/mixed media work FUN STUFF.
