June’s challenge is up on the A2ZScraplets Blog . It’s another sketch challenge. There’s 3 great Scraplets packs to be won and you have to be in it to win it!! All you have to do is create a layout based on the sketch posted on the blog. Its open to your own interpretation, but it must be recognisable.

NEW CALL: The Next Step Challenge Blog Launch

We wanted to introduce ourselves and let you know a little about us and why we created this technique challenge blog. We are Lucy Edson, Bethany Kartchner, and Gayle Martin.
If you are anything like us, you already have a HUGE stash of supplies. In The Next Step we want you to use and re purpose what you already have to create new art! This isn't about the latest and greatest - it's how to make something old look new and incorporate it into your work. To breathe new life into some of the simple supplies you already have or can pick up anywhere. Many of us are trying to find ways to recycle and conserve our resources, so we will have tips for that every month.

We hope that you will be inspired by our take on the techniques and ideas and try them for yourselves. We can't wait to see your results!

On the first Monday of each month we will post an exciting new technique complete with a step-by-step tutorial. On the second and third Mondays of the month we will post different projects using the same technique. The fourth Monday will be dedicated to mini-tutorials, book reviews, product spotlights and anything else we find interesting to share. Two RAKs are up for grabs each month. One prize will go to the most creative project and the other will be a random participation prize. In order to qualify, you need to leave a comment along with a link to your work (using the spotlighted technique) sometime during the month.

NEW CALL: So Sketchy Design Team Call

Deadline: Monday, June 8, 2009

It's that time of the year again when I hunt down a new design team for So Sketchy! another 6 months. Yup! It's time for some fresh creative faces.

I'm looking for:
6 page designers
3 card designers

DT Requirements:
- create a minimum of 2-3 creations per month using the sketches provided using any product of your choosing
- promote my sketches through your blog; yes, you must have a blog
- must commit to a 6 month term

DT Compensation:
At this time I am unable to compensate you with any product or money but occasionally we do have sponsors and you will receive goodies to work with from our generous sponsors.

How to Apply:
Please provide me with the following information:
- Your full name, address, email address
- Indicate what size you prefer to scrap: 12x12, 8.5x11 or cards OR any combination of the 3 is fine too.
- A link to your blog
- A link to a minimum of one gallery that you submit to on regular basis. Please provide your username.
- A list of any design teams or manufacturers you may belong to.
- 3 pages or cards that best displays your scrapping style . Files under 150k please.
- You may apply for both a cards position or a page position but I must receive TWO different applications.. one for each position.
- A little intro telling me why you would like to be a part of the So Sketchy Sistas.
