COMMUNITY CALL: Create to ReCreate
Crafty Matters and Kim Archer have organised "Create to ReCreate" in aid of the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
We have designed a couple of pdf's that can be printed and used on projects for scrapping and card making.
We can only run the workshop till the 30th March, due to the Red Cross requirements, so get these great project pdf's, while you still can !

NEW CALL: Bon's Scraps Scrap Your Year Challenge !

WANNA WIN AN AMERICAN CRAFTS ALBUM?

Scrap Your Year Challenge
Some of you have a head start on this, having done January for the five week challenge
For the rest here's the details:
Scrap each 'month' of your year - use photos, journalling, ephemera - anything that helps tell the story of your month.
Upload your layout by the end of the following month i.e. February is due 31st of March, March is due 30th of April etc.
There will be random RAKS and giveaways for people who complete each month.
Everyone who completes every month this year will go in a random draw to win an American Crafts album in the size that you choose.
Oh, you have all year to catch up on January - as long as you post it in the gallery.
The rest of the months must be completed by the end of the next to be eligible for the end-of-year random draw.
We will remind you each month!!
And at the end of the year you'll have a great record of your year!

NEW CALL: Butterfly Crafts Challenge # 8

It's time for challenge 8 and we are still giving away that DT position so if challenge 7 didn't appeal to you why not give this one a try:
In the spirit of St Patrick's day I want you to create a lay-out about Luck.
Whether it be a lucky charm you have, a occasion where you have had good luck or when you have had bad luck.
Please upload your LO's to our gallery, leave us a link in the comments or e-mail them to Butterflycrafts1@aol.com by 30th Mar.
Prize reminder:
This month we have a very special prize for the winner of our months challenges, a DT position!!!!! One of our DT member has had to leave us so we have an open spot and thought it would be a fun idea to give it away as this months prize.... This is how it will work - from all the lay-out we receive for the March challenges I will pick my fav 3 and then the DT will vote for their fav and the top Lay-out will win the DT position (for 3 months Apr- Jun 09)!!! We will also randomly pick a runner up who will become our April GD. Makes sense??? (If not please give us a shout.)
New site information as well:
I've set up a new forum for Butterfly Crafts here it is:- http://butterflycrafts.forumotion.net/forum.htm I did this as I had a few user's say they didn't like the old forum as they found it to confusing and hard to use.
I'll be keep the old forum for now but please move over when you get a chance.
We also have a new gallery here:- http://www.flickr.com/groups/1000582@N25/ (don't worry if you have uploaded to the old gallery - I will still be able to see your LO's)
Hope you like the new forum and gallery :)
