Disadvantaged indigenous women from Fiji, PNG, Vanuatu and Cook Islands get much of their clothing from second hand Australian clothes shops. Bras are rare in these shops, particularly in sizes to suit these ladies and High School age girls. A new bra costs $40, and wages range from $1.50- $4.50/hour.With the humidity, fungal infections and abscesses occur between the breast and the chest wall. Bras will help.Closing date for Bra collection is the 21st July 2008. Please either drop them at Red Cross,6 Foley Street, Gwynneville or call to arrange collection.
