NEW CALL: Afternoon Tea Design Team Call

Afternoon Tea is a new and unique Monthly Kit club - we launch in September!

We are currently looking for Scrapbookers, Card Makers, Altered Artists and all-round crafty superstars!! for our permanent Design Team and as Guest Designers. We are accepting applications from the UK and Internationally.

To apply, please send your blog link, a short bio about you, the names of any other DT's you are on and what areas from the above list you specialise in (or if you're an all round crafty superstar!) along with your name and e-mail address and a few pictures of your work (no more than 6 please and please make them fairly small JPEGS or similar so our e-mail doesn't crash!! thank you!) - info@afternoonteasociety.co.uk

The closing date is 15th July - that gives you a little over 2 weeks. We will contact the successful applicants within 7 days and make the announcement before the end of July.

NEW CALL: Creative Prompts 4U Design Team Call

Creative Prompts 4u is a new challenge blog with tons of inspiration to share!
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about creating and inspiring others. If you are not afraid to think outside of the box, let loose and have fun getting creative with your projects -- WE WANT YOU!

Design Team Requirements:
Creative Prompts 4u is seeking 2 designers who are interested in working with a team to create a variety of projects such as layouts, cards, &/or altered art.
There is a 6 month time commitment effective August 1, 2010 through November 30, 2010.
Design Team members must have an active blog and are willing to promote Creative Prompts 4u on any online galleries/forums you participate.

Responsibilities:
Assist with the creation of challenges for the blog.
You will create projects based on challenges created by all individuals on the Design Team.
Send in your "assignments" in a timely manner.
If you are interested in being part of our new blog, please send us the following by July 15, 2010 12:00 noon EST to creativeprompts4u@hotmail.com.

Please include:
* A copy of "scrapbook" resume or brief bio about yourself, your full name, address, phone number.
* A link/address to your blog & any online galleries you have
* Please share 2 layouts & 1 card which you feel shows your style of scrapbooking/cardmaking
* Please tell us why you would be a great addition to our new Design Team

New Challenge: Thursday, July 15 – Wednesday, July 28, 2010

BE CHALLENGED
Welcome! We here have all experienced a loss. Together, we hope to heal. This site is intended to help in that process...to be a source of inspiration and motivation...and to simply be a place to share and know that others understand. To that end, we (the contributors) have created these scrapbook challenges. For us, scrapbooking about our lost loved ones is therapeutic on many levels.

Challenges are completely open...anyone can participate and challenges are very much open to interpretation...take from them whatever helps YOU. Tackle them in whatever format suits you (layouts, mini albums, home decor, anything!). No rules.

(Note, if you're fortunate enough to have not suffered a loss, you're still more than welcome to hang out here. :) We know these challenges can be inspiring in and of themselves, without necessarily relating to loss.)

New challenges and examples will be posted on the 1st and 15th of each month. Between challenges, more in-depth looks at the contributor layouts will be posted. As this site evolves, we hope to add more content between the challenges and will look to you for ideas and suggestions.
