Scrap of Difference is looking for it’s next Design Team. We change our DT every 6 months in order that we might all learn something new from each team that come on board. Whilst we are sad to farewell our current DT from their posts, we are excited about what our new team will teach us. So, do you think you might enjoy inspiring our scrappers? Then here is what you need to know:
What is required of a DT member:
Being an active member of our forums and posting regular work to our gallery is a must. We expect that you would actively participate in the forum to help grow our membership and as such would expect each DT member to post a minimum of 30 posts a week.
We are a small forum and this will be an important factor in determining the Design Team. We want to add Designers who speak highly of Scrap of Difference and promote our website. We would like Design Team members to try and participate in challenges and contests where possible.
We ask that you contribute at least one article (this could be an online class or a technique corner posting) or challenge on our website per month.
We require you to submit at least 3 layouts or projects per month to our gallery. Two of these layouts should be from the materials supplied in your monthly kit and the 3rd from a challenge or competition listed on Scrap of Difference during the month.
Detailed instructions of the layouts you create from your pack are required to be sent through to admin so that packs may be created to be sold in the shop or reproduced as online classes so the membership may learn your style and techniques.
Please note that 3 is a minimum but we would appreciate as much of your work as you'd like to share.
Promote Scrap of Difference by adding us to your signature line or linking on your blog where possible.
You agree to release the rights of your designs to Scrap of Difference for display on the company website and in company materials and publications and also to create our DT packs for sale (when you use products we send to you to create with)
We encourage our DT to tell us about any problems they see with the site. This helps to alert us to spammers or find incorrect information, spelling etc on the site. We also expect all DT members to help with moderating the forums.
Participate daily and actively on the forum working to make it a fun and exciting place to be which inspires both new and seasoned scrappers. This includes posting and assisting with contests, crops and challenges.
How to apply:
Please send an email with DT call as the subject to jo@scrapofdifference.com.au along with 3 items of your work which you feel show your style - you are welcome to include off the page projects amongst these but at least 2 items should be layouts. Please also supply all your contact information including your user name at Scrap of Difference and a short biography.
If you have a link to galleries with your work currently displayed that would be great also or blog links etc.

The deadline for application is April 20th. There is no need to make anything new! I just want to see your latest work (please limit file size to 150 KB each) so I can get an idea of your style.
What you receive as a DT member:
* Membership to our Design Team only forum
* A monthly pack of product to produce layouts with and give product reviews on. Unfortuantely there is no monetary compensation for your designs
* A design team member's discount with Scrap of Difference for the duration of your Design Team term. Details of this discount will be released to successful candidates.

Hi there :)
I am looking for Design Team Members.

I will be giving my design team scrapbooking goodies every 2 months.

NEW CALL: Kraft It Up April Challenge
The New monthly criteria is up at Kraft It Up
To use a KRAFT base and a MONOCHROMATIC colour scheme, there is a catch though you CAN NOT use Brown.
You can use very small amounts of other colours for things like journal spots or doodling but we want your layout to be 95% or more of your chosen colour.
We look forward to seeing some amazing colours on your layout, don't be shy why not try something you wouldn't normally do!!!
