NEW CALL: KIKI ART - 2009/2010 Design Team Call

Kiki Art is a new company and we are full of surprises and innovation. Being part of our team is fun!!! Why not try it out?
o When: Deadline to submit your creations is 30th September, 2009
o Where: ANYWHERE!!! We want our Design team to be as diverse and colorful as our collections and vision, so any country, language, religion, culture and form of expression is welcome and appreciated!!
o How: Send us pictures of three original projects made proudly by you (see below) and an e-mail answering the following questions, to kikiteam@kiki-art.com:
· Why do you want to be part of the Kiki Art team?
· How is scrapbooking part of your life?
· Do you have a blog? Please, send us the address. If you don’t have a blog? Why is that? Would you like to start one?
· Are you part of a design team in the present time?
· Are you part of a craft forum or group? Which one?
· What do you think about publishing your work? Have you had something published before?
· What is your favorite quote and why?
· What is your favorite place in the world and why?
· What is your favorite color?
§ These are the projects that you choose from to show us (please, make sure the size of the image is not more than 600 pxl):
o Two cards
o Layout 12”x12”
o Layout 8”x8”
o Minialbum
o Altered object
IMPORTANT: entries made with Kiki Art products will receive an extra bonus!!!
o The duties: once you have been elected as part of Kiki Art Design Team 2009 you will have to fulfill the following tasks for a whole year, starting October 1st 2009 until September 30th 2010, with the option of re-applying for the next term.
§ BASIC information: we will need your BIO in one or all the following languages (English-Spanish-French) and a picture of you as a child and as an adult.
§ Minimal 1 blog entry per month with your artwork (but there are no maximum, you can send as many as you want)… each month will have a theme.
§ Minimal 2 projects for pre-release products (that is only twice a year in January and July)
§ Completed work must clearly show Kiki Art products (we will always provide the material for you)
o The benefits:
• A blinkie saying you are a Kiki Art Design team member 2009 will be all yours to display where you want.
§ Free product and fresh information on releases! – Every time we release a new product you will know all the “behind the scenes” information and you will have access to play with it before anyone else!
§ Your name, your story or anything you want to share with the world will be shown in three different languages (or the language of your choice) for the whole planet to enjoy! The creations will be posted on Facebook, the website, the blog and may become subject for a make and take!
§ If you like multiculturalism, “non for profit actions” and friends across the world… you will be interacting with people from everywhere and also doing some good in the process.
§ Surprises… be aware that there will be nice surprises in store for the people who belong to this very special little club!!!
o The results:
We will announce the winners on October 12th, 2009!!!

• Description of your call- Create a project using any of Webster's Pages calendar products to convey a sense of TIME. The more Webster's Pages goodies, the better.

NEW CALL: Urban Scrappers Design Team Call
Deadline: Wednesday, September 30, 2009
The time has come to get the Urban Scrappers Design Team started......
As a designer, you will be asked to:
1. Create 2-3 projects a month which can include any challenge layouts, any mini books, cards, etc keep the members inspired.
2. Participate in the monthly challenge projects
3. Provide weekly support by responding to reader's questions and leaving praise/comments in the gallery and forum
4. Facilitate one challenge a month and one forum discussion a month.
5. Provide quality scans/photographs of all projects as well as posting any related tips/tricks
6. Help promote/advertise URBAN SCRAPPERS on your personal blog in addition to any message boards where appropriate.
7. Commit to a 6-month term beginning October 2009

NEW CALL: Martini Designs Challenge Blog Dt Call and Scrap Challenge
Deadline: Friday, October 2, 2009, 5 – 6pm
We are a new Challange Blog by the name of Martini Designs Challange Blog. We are hosting our First Scrap-off Challange and DT Call. Part of each persons entry for the DT will be participating in the Scrap-off
Challenge. We are looking to add 3 Designers to the team, and this is how we are going to select the DT.
If a person wants to apply for the DT then they must enter the Scrap-off Challange. But, if you just want to enter the Scrap-off challange and not apply for the DT, that is OK to. We one winner 3 beautiful stamps from Motivet Stamps and here is their web address: motivetstamps.com
Anyone interested will need to go to the blog and follow all the instructions listed.....completing steps 1-5.
