NEW CALL: Scrapbook Divas DT CALL

Scrapbook Divas is looking for a new member of their team.
We are currently taking applications for a forum/blog/advertising coordinator.

All applications need to be sent to by 31st January 2009 outlining how you, the applicant, would best suit the position and what you would bring to Scrapbook Divas.

Please note that this is a non-scrapbooking position, however the coordinator would be expected to have an active gallery account with Scrapbook Divas.
Be aware that to complete this role, the successful applicant must be able to commit to daily interactions on the Diva site and have access to email on a regular basis.

Forum Coordinator Role includes:
Compiling new topic threads in the forum, as well as keeping all those of current interest, bumped to the top of the current topics list
Update the forum and Diva blog on regular basis with a ‘whats new’ update. (weekly)
Inform sponsoring blogs and competition sites of the current Diva challenges and other exciting news that is going on over at the Diva site. (weekly)
Assist the Design Team and Michelle in general duties as required, at times attending a general Design Team meeting.

The successful applicant for the role of forum coordinator will be offered a generous discount in the Diva shop and have the opportunity to be a part of some of the behind the scenes roles of a scrapbooking site.

NEW CALL: 2009 Bad Girls Design Team Call

Bad Girls kit Club is looking to invite a couple new designers to join their 2009 Bad Girls Design Team!!!
We will begin accepting email applications January 14, 2009 and continue through February 11, 2009.
New BAD GIRL DESIGNERS will be announced on the BAD GIRL site on or before February 15, 2009.
All applications must be received by the due date 12 p.m. PST.
Any late applications will not be considered.

We are looking for team players that work well with tight deadlines, and that are a good fit with our current team.
We have some exciting things planned this year, so this is a great opportunity!
*Experience with PhotoShop is a plus, so please indicate if you have these abilities.
*All BAD GIRL DESIGNERS are exclusive and must not hold any Design Team positions with other kit clubs.
Manufacturers are acceptable.
To apply, please submit 3 layouts and 1 project that best represent your current scrapbooking style. All submitted work must be newly created for this call.
All files should be approx. 500 X 500 px.
· 1 layout needs to include products and paper from at least 3 different manufacturers
· 1 layout all about you. What do you want us to know about you?
· 1 layout you made that you think simply RAWKS
· We want to see your most creative and inspiring project with a few words describing it.
*Please include your name, address, phone number, and email address, and link to your blog and online gallery if you have one. Please include your user name to all online galleries.
*Please include a short paragraph explaining why you want to be a BAD GIRL Designer
*We would love to get to know you a little bit, so feel free to post on our message board and participate in our friendly and welcoming online community.

Bad Girl Designers are expected to create 4 layouts and 1 project per month with the kit that we provide to you.
Other expections of our DT Members including but not limited to are message board presence, support and encouragement to our kit club members, promotion of our kits and store, a link to us on your blog and Design Participation in our new and soon to launch Bad Girls Project 52 Blog. We also expect participation in any classes, challenges, workshops, online crops, etc. as assigned by the owner or DT Coordinator.
Bad Girl Designers are also expected to promote BAD GIRLS through their personal Blogs and through exposure of their DT Work.
Design Team terms will be for 6 months with BAD GIRLS beginning with the March 2009 Kit and your term will end with the August 2009 Kit.

Bad Girls Designers are compensated with a monthly kit worth $42.95, occasional add on products that you will use in your designs to promote the kits, store items to promote our new art inspiration Blog “Project 52”,as well as a 20% store discount.
You also may occasionally receive additional store items that you will design with (classes, projects, challenges) to promote said items.
Other incentives include opportunities to attend special trade only shows, CHA, retreats, etc.
We also offer compensation for published works of BAD GIRL artwork.
You will be heavily promoted on our site and blog with a head shot, bio and link you your personal blog we also work closely with some the best companies in the industry to further promote you and give you opportunities as a designer.

Shimmerz Paints DT Call

Deadline: Sunday, February 15, 2009

We're looking for several talented designers to join our team.
If you enjoy making projects that sparkle and can capture the sparkle in a photograph, please apply today!
The applicants for this call will be considered not only for current openings the DT, but also for future openings and for guest spots throughout 2009.
We don't plan to have another call until 2010!
We want to find:
* Active, enthusiastic team members who enjoy using and talking about our products
* A nice mix of seasoned designers and talented rookies
* A variety of artists represented on the team: rubber stampers, scrapbookers, altered artists, painters, etc.

Our team offers designers a lot of flexibility.
There are no vendor restrictions at this time, so designers are free to include any stamps, paper, embellishments, etc. from any other vendor.
We're also flexible on project type.
You can create cards, scrapbook layouts, jewelry, painting, 3-D/home decor item, etc.... as long as Shimmerz is used and is visible on the project.
(Photography is very important!)

* Use Shimmerz/Blingz on your projects and photograph them.
* Post at least 2 projects per month on the Shimmerz blog.
* Post your Shimmerz projects on your personal blog and online gallery(ies), with links to the Shimmerz blog.
* Support new product offerings, blog candy, and other special events by posting them on your blog.

* The DT Kit includes 5 jars of Shimmerz which are received at the outset of the DT member's term. Additional jars are sent when new products are released. {For example, 12 new colors have been released in the past 6 months.}
* Additional Shimmerz for personal use available at a generous discount
* Incentive for projects published using and naming Shimmerz
* Your name and a link to your blog on the Shimmerz blog
* Fun opportunities for creative input like new colors and color names

NEW CALL: Croppin’ Paradise Design Team Call

DEADLINE:February 15, 2009

Now is your opportunity!!!
We are currently accepting applications for positions on our Design Team.
We are looking to build this community with talent and a fun atmosphere!

Croppin’ Paradise Design Team members will be asked to:Design four (4) projects—2 layouts, 1 card, and 1 altered item per month and post them to our Gallery – you will have your own folder in our Design Team section.
The projects you create each month will be used to showcase manufacturer products occasionally in our weekly newsletter and in other promotions.
Develop one design team tip every six (6) weeks that will be posted in our forum so everyone can learn new tips, techniques, and trends to try for themselves.
You will need to provide a sample and tips so that other members of our community can learn from our talented design team.
You must participate in online events during the term and post comments daily in our forums (at least 30 posts/month).
Our community is small but it is our intent to help it grow and become a wonderful place to share scrapbooking thoughts and just hang out.
If you are having fun, the community will too!
We ask that each DT member try their best to devote a few minutes everyday to posting in our forums and gallery.
You will create monthly contests and weekly challenges on a rotating basis with other DT members.
You will also help judge the contests and challenges.
We ask that each DT member have a blog (preferably a scrapbook focused blog) and that you create a link to our store on your blog, and share comments, contest and challenges from Croppin’ Paradise on your blog from time to time.
You should also promote Croppin’ Paradise to friends, family and colleagues to help facilitate the growth of our online store, our newsletter registration and our forum and gallery participation.

Croppin’ Paradise will provide the following to you as a DT member:
A $20 voucher each month to purchase products from our online store.
An additional 15% savings on all personal purchases.
Recognitions in our forum and gallery.Access to the private Design Team forum so you can communicate and share tips with other DT members

If you are not already a member of our message board and gallery, you must join and be active most days during the Design Team call period and throughout your term.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age on March 1, 2009.
Applications are open to everyone.
International applicants are welcome.
This is not an exclusive assignment.
We accept applicants from other design teams including local, online, and/or manufacturer – however you may not be a design team member of a competing online store.
Previous design team experience is not required.

You may choose to serve on other design teams.
This is fine with us, with the exception of other online store DTs.
Our DT members may be on LSS DTs, manufacturer DTs, magazine DTs, and kit club DTs, but not on the DT for competing online scrapbook stores.
We will be looking for designers with all different levels of scrap booking, paper crafting, and photography skills.

Post 3 original layouts, card and/or projects that best reflects your style in the idea gallery here at Croppin Paradise under the Design Team Call - 2009 folder.
