NEW CALL: Scrapbook News and Review January Call

Deadline: Friday, November 28, 2008

Are you ready to have your treasures published in the fastest growing, most exciting publication in the industry?
Scrapbook News and Review is accepting submissions for its January issue.
We are looking for cards on these subjects:
- Winter- not Christmas, please
- snow, snowmen,
- cardinals,
- generic winter...think January
-Shaped Cards- any occasion- just not rectangle/square
-Card Sets (any occasion, just semi matching/related cards you might create to give as a boxed set to somebody)
-Tags- any kind, any occasion--gift or card
-Money holders/gift card holders- any occasion, and feel free to be creative (tins are ok, boxes, etc)
-Doodling/Pen Work: any cards that show off your penskills

The Details:

--All Cards should be submitted by Nov 28th.
--Images should be no larger than 350 pixels on the longest side
--Image names should include card name and your name...For Example: Happy Birthday by Mary Smith.jpg
--Please include complete supply list in submission
--Please include contact information.
--Cards may be previously seen. If chosen, we respectfully request they be removed from any blogs or galleries. An 'Out for Publication' sign will be provided upon request.

Cover Contest:
Each month we will choose one layout to grace our cover andthat designer will receive a wonderful package of goodies as our thanks.All layouts submitted for our article calls are eligible. Good Luck!
Discovery and Digital Discovery: If we have never published your work,send in three samples of work showcasing your unique style and you mightbe one of our latest Discoveries.
Just Create – January is National Creativity Month. Every scrapper knowsshe/he is not limited to layouts, so let's see how you let that creativityrun wild with your scrapbooking products. From altered items tomini-books, the possibilities are endless.
Baby it's cold outside – Layouts exuding the feeling of cold, from wintersnowball fights, to hot chocolate afterwards, make us feel "cold".
Bind It! – What have you been doing with the hottest tool on the marketright now? Show us what has you binding away with the Bind It All!
Winter Sports – Show us what your family and friends are up to in ourwinter wonderland!
White Space – It's only right for us to do a white space call during thewhitest month of the four seasons. Let's see those layouts showing offyour "white space".
Brads and Eyelets - So easily these little embellishments can beforgotten. Time to make them shine! Focus on using them to make your pagePOP!
Out with the Old - Make room for the new! Projects showcasing your use ofscraps!
Cards – Time to send those just because you care, just because you’respecial in my life or just because I can cards.
Be Chic – This year, ring in the year in style! Do your pages sparkle orshimmer with glitter? Or perhaps you could redirect traffic with all ofthose shiny gems? If so this call is for you…please send your pages rightin!
Pet Park – Any layout about your special pet.
Hybrid – What better way to start the New Year then by celebrating the"new" you in Hybrid Scrapbooking! Show off those hybrid techniques andshare your secrets with our readers!
The Open Road – Me, Myself & I: Kicking off a new year means that it istime for self-reflection! Create an "All About Me" layout and usejournaling that describes the good, the bad, and/or all parts of you!
Street Maps – Every weekend we have sketches put up for you to work with.Stop on down at Town Square in our forums and check them out. You couldend up on the "Map".
