We are looking for Crafters who love to create with Chipboard whether it is Cards, Layouts or Off the Page items.

This position will be for an initial period of 6 months with the possibility of it being extended after this date.

· 3 projects showcasing your abilities using chipboard

(It isn't essential that you use 2 Crafty on these items)

(we are after a mix of Designers and want to make a team that fits.)

What you will receive

Enough chipboard to create 4 projects per month with plenty left over for your own personal use. If you are asked to create for trade shows we will provide you with enough chipboard to help you to create for these events.

Design Team 'Duties'

We would like you to update the blog with your projects 4 times a month; you may be asked to help create projects for trade shows and will be supplied extra chipboard for this.

When updating the blog provide any hints and tips on your project and link back to the shop where ever possible.

Where ever possible help to promote 2 Crafty on your own blog and any forums/challenge blogs you may be a member of.

Help to keep the 2Crafty Facebook Page up to date.

Design Team term is for a period of 6 months with a possible extension after this date.

Submissions are due to the above email address by December 31st.
Successful applicants will be contacted by the January 15th 2012.
Your Design Team Term will start in February when you receive your first Design Team Kit

Retreat in Phoenix, AZ, USA, March 21-25, 2012. No exceptions.
Designer Term 4-1-2012 to 3-30-2013.
Complete all requirements, on time.

Designers working for companies that make/sell dies or punches are not eligible.
Employees of Spellbinders Paper Arts, affiliates, and immediate families are not eligible.

Requirements

Monthly: Original artwork: 1 scrapbook page, 1 card, 1 mixed media project and a single die project, with paperwork for all. One magazine submission.

Trade Shows: 6 or more assigned trade show projects.
Online Forums: Weekly Involvement on one or more craft related online forum.

We are looking for your ORIGINAL creative, innovative designs. It must not have been published online, in print or on display in public, and must be your original design.
You are not required to use Spellbinders products in your entries.

Spellbinders die templates are universal and may be used in most leading die cut systems, please download the Spellbinders Die Compatibility Chart or see the Spellbinders How-to Page for instructions and videos on how to use our dies.

The Final Round projects cannot be shown publicly until after the contest is over.

NEW CALL: Imaginarium Designs Design Team Call

We are looking for Australian and International, talented Scrapbookers that can work magic with Imaginarium Designs chipboard.

We are looking for artists who create Scrapbook Pages, Cards, Mixed Media Projects, Off the Page Projects plus LOVE what they do!

NEW CALL: Blue Bazaar Kit Designer

We are looking for one (1) layout designer for our kit program during 2012.

You can read about our kit program HERE and also see previous kit images to determine if our kits suit your style.

REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of 5 layouts and step by step photos and instructions for 9 kits throughout 2012.
You will be required to submit layouts and instructions for the following months:
January, February, April, May, July, August, September, November and December. Specific due dates will be provided to you.

Kits are usually provided to you 2-4 weeks prior to due date. We will endeavour to get kits to you as soon as possible once all products are received.

You should be able to scrapbook across a broad range of styles. You should also be able to scrapbook a broad range of themes - boys, girls, family, travel, events etc.

It is essential that you provide clear photographs and clearly written instructions. You are required to submit photos to us as individual images, and instructions should be typed in a Word document. We then collate the information into our Blue Bazaar instruction format.

If you wish to see an example of our instruction format, please download the following set of instructions from the store: DOWNLOAD

NOTE: You must add the instruction item to your cart and checkout as normal to receive the download link. There is no charge at all required when downloading this item. The item is available to download for free until the 30th November 2011.

This is not an exclusive arrangement and we have no issue if you currently work for other retailers or manufacturers.
You are not required to have a blog or perform any advertising for the kit program.

BENEFITS:

- Payment of $60.00 per completed kit either in cash (bank transfer) or store credit. (your choice).

- A minimum of 4 scrapbook layouts per month
- A written or video tutorial for one of your projects per month (rostered)
- A weekly post on the Scraploot blog (rostered)
- Set a monthly challenge using provided kit
- Leave comments for participants on challenges
- Participation in Cyber Crops or challenges set on the Scraploot blog, and assist in the judging of entries
- Active promotion of Scraploot via Facebook, blogs and online forums/galleries where permitted

Get Picky Design Team Call
It’s that time again here at Get Picky and we are looking to welcome some fantastic new artists to our creative family! We would like to extend our design team so if you think you would be perfect, please read on.

Requirements: Designers will be required to complete 2 multi-photo layouts per month.

Designer should have a blog – posting Get Picky layouts and linking back to our blog will be required. The use of any other online gallery / forum / social network to promote Get Picky or share your work is also very much appreciated.

Designers will be required to leave comments for participants on their entries.

Designers will also be required to assist in judging and choosing winners for each challenge.

Australian and International artists are welcome to apply.

Benefits: Designers will be listed on our blog and also on a special designer’s page....along with your headshot and links back to your own blog.

Requirements: working with a monthly kit (which requires written instructions), posting on the store blog on a rostered basis, and creating one layout per month for the sketch challenges. The term will run for 6 months (September 2011 - Fabruary 2012), with the option to extend at the end of the term. It's that time again! Say It With Letters is looking for 3-5 new Design Team members who are creative, motivated, talented and versatile! We design custom cut letters and shapes and need your talent to show them off in creative ways!

We will be accepting applications through Sunday, July 17th. Winners will be e-mailed directly and we'll make a formal announcement on or before Wednesday, July 20th. The position will begin with a July project (you’ll receive your letters or shapes shortly after you accept the position) and will continue for six months. After the six month period, the position may continue on a month to month basis, if agreed upon by both parties.

Needed:
. Submit 3 to 4 altered projects that show off your personal style (1 scrapbook layout or card is acceptable.) Photos should be clear and no larger than 500x500 pixels. They do not need to be created especially for us but, they should be something fairly new that shows your current style. Using our products is a plus! Send pictures to deb@sayitwithletters.com with a subject of "DT Submission - your name" no later than Sunday, July 17th at midnight and include the following:

Starting on the 11th each DT member will receive 3 clipart bundles/OR papers, 6 digital stamps and 1 CHALLENGE stamp. You'll have 1 week to turn something in for the challenge and 2 weeks to create anything you like with the remaining DT artwork. We’re thrilled to announce the call for the American Crafts 2011-2012 Design Team! We’re looking for talented and committed designers who love to create with AC products. To apply, please email stephanies@americancrafts.com with the following information:

1. A single paragraph telling us a little about yourself. When did you start scrapbooking? How would you define your style? What do you love about American Crafts products? Are you on any other design teams? Have you been published before? Be sure to include your name and hometown. Help us get a good sense of who you are and your paper crafting history. Please note that previous design team experience is not required.

2. A link to your online gallery and/or blog so that we may see samples of your various paper crafting projects. If you have a scrapbook resume we’d love to see that as well.

3. A scan or photo of 2 layouts, 1 card, and 1 other type of project that showcases your style. Please use at least 75% American Crafts products.

The deadline for all applications to be received is July 29th, 2011. The individuals chosen to join the team will be notified via email and the new team will be announced here on the blog in early August. NOOSA NORTH SHORE RETREAT – 14 TO 16 OCTOBER 2011

Have you ever wanted to just get away with a group of like-minded crafters on a weekend to spend a whole weekend scrapbooking? *Design Team Requirements and Information*

- we are looking for 10-12 *paper* crafters of all levels and styles {{we like *variety*}}
- although we are a weekly challenge blog, design team will be split in 2 groups; so you will be responsible for a project every 2 weeks*;although you are welcome to submit a project for the �off week�
- challenges will vary from sketches, colors, techniques, photo inspiration, recipes, etc. and can be featured on *layouts, cards, and altered art as long as it includes paper :)
- term is for 6 months end of June to end of January; with a break over the holidays
- design team members are *required to have a blog* and post their design team projects on the assigned day, as well as encourage followers to participate in the fun
- it is encouraged that you are active in *other communities*(facebook,forums and message boards, yahoo groups, nings, etc.) where you can display your Paper Variety blinky and post your projects

D-lish Scraps are searching for their first ever design team!

We're looking for enthusiastic and talented scrappers who share our passion for the D-lish range.

Designers will be required to complete a minimum of 2 (two) projects per month showcasing and incorporating products from the range.

Projects must be shared both here on the D-lish facebook page as well as your personal blog. You may also enter the items into challenges if their rules permit.

To be eligible for a position you must have your own personal blog as well as a current facebook account that you are happy to advertise D-lish and it's products on.

To apply please email 2 (two) projects only that use D-lish products (or similar products if you don't have any) to dlishscraps@gmail.com Also include a link to your own personal blog, a little bit about yourself and any other current DT commitments you have.

Applications will be open till the 31st May. All applicants will be contacted by June 10th in regards to their application.

Successful applicants will be put on for a 3 (three) month trial period with the intent of extending this time to a total of 6 (six) months if both parties agree.

In exchange, designers will be given a "Welcome Pack" of products and then each subsequent month a store credit in which to purchase product of their choice to use on their Design Team creations.

Yes you heard right, it is time for us to have some new members on the Creative Team!!!

Sadly we have to say goodbye to some of our gorgeous CT who have almost finished their time with KIU, I would love to keep them all and more but it isn't possible...

So if you would like to become a CT Member for KIU this is what you have to do...

* Create two layouts specifically for this CT Call...

(1) This layout needs to showcase your scrapping style and of course needs to be created with Kraft or Kraft Patterned Paper.

(2) You need to create a layout using one or more of these criteria, also on Kraft or Kraft Patterned Paper...
* Distressing
* White Space (also known as negative space or a minimalistic layout)
* Multiple Photos
* Layering
* Arty techniques - glimmermists, paints, doodling, masking

You will also need to email me a short bio that you are happy to have shared on the KIU blog.

Entries close: 25th May (Successful applicants will be notified by the end of May and given July's Criteria to have completed by 29th June)

Provide projects for customer-specific requests (ie, Jo-Ann Fabrics)
Create projects for new product packaging upon request

Other duties:
As appropriate, and within FTC guidelines, we encourage you to post on your personal blogs, Facebook pages, and Twitter accounts sharing news about Fiskars products along with your projects.
Designers are paid per project. Compensation information will be provided to those in the final running for placement on our team.
This term will run from June 1, 2011-May 30, 2012 (A one-year contract will be sent for signature to those selected for the team.)

How to Apply:
Fill out the application below completely
Provide 3 samples of your work through high-res photos, with multiple angles if needed to capture all aspects of the projects. These can either be all fabric, all paper, or a mix of the two if you are proficient in both.
Provide written directions, with step-outs, including photo step-outs (again high-res) of one of the sample projects. (See project gallery on fiskars.com for examples)
Write an article about the creation of, story behind, importance of… one of the other 2 sample items. (See article section on fiskars.com for examples)
Use the third project to show us a unique and innovative tool use – paper piecing, appliqué, etc… Please describe, but specific directions are not needed for this piece.
All 3 samples and application are due by April 19th, 2011 noon CST.
The three samples should be saved as one .PDF document, and labeled as parts 1, 2, and 3, no larger than 10MB and send to content@fiskars.com or post them to your blog or website and send the link for each part to content@fiskars.com for review.
If you become a finalist, you will receive communication as to your status and further interviewing could potentially follow.
Final design team members will be announced on or around the week of May 24, 2011th.

Workshop and product demonstrations/promotions are conducted over the weekend, learning new techniques and gaining heaps of ideas and inspiration. Scraps of Darkness Kit Club Design Team Call

Description:
Scraps of Darkness kit club is looking for designers to add to our talented Design Team! If you love the alternative side of scrapbooking or would like to venture into this realm, then we encourage you to try out!!

Commitment is important, so we want to be straightforward with what we are looking for. We want to see ambitious, outgoing, forum savvy scrappers that share in the same love as we do.
This DT position will start with our May, 2011 kit and end with our October, 2011 kit and we are looking for 2 designers for this term.

Here is what we will need from you:

1. You must complete a minimum of 5 layouts/cards/projects per month and have 4 of them ready to upload by reveal day, which is the 15th of every month, and the 5th layout/project should be uploaded about a week after reveal day. These layouts need to be placed in the SOD gallery, blogs, scrapbook.com, and any other public galleries that you participate in.

2. Daily participation on our forum and a daily check in on our Design Team forum, as well as keeping up in the galleries is a must. DT responsibilities, such as posting a Question of The Week, will be rotated amongst our DT and we would also like you to start new threads that encourage posting by our members.

3. You must complete at least 2 tutorials within your 6 month DT term for SOD. These can be either photo or video tutorials.

In return for your commitment, you will receive the entire main kit, as well as two additional add-ons free of charge!! You will also have first dibs on any additional add-ons featured throughout the months you are a DT at a 50% discount. In addition, we offer a 30% discount in our store for DT members.

Do you love crafting with Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock? Do the terms “sand it, tear it, emboss it and antique it” get your brain fired up into a creative frenzy? This could be the design team call you have been waiting for.

Core’dinations is looking for 8 to 10 design team members to help show off the many wonderful techniques that can be done with their ColorCore Cardstock. Term will run for one year; May 2011 to April 2012.

Design Team Requirements:
- 3 projects each month which primarily feature Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstocks with supply lists so that they can be featured on the Core’dinations’ ColorCore Cardstock blog.
- Occasional projects which involve product exchange with other manufacturers (e.g., Jillibean Soup, Helmar, Fiskars, My Stamp Box).
- Regular project submissions to magazines for publication purposes.
- Promoting Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock projects, giveaways and blog swaps on personal blogs.

Application Process:
- Step One: Design and then post three projects in one posting on your personal blog on or beforeFriday, April 15th at 4:00pm EST. These projects may include layouts, cards, altered items, and other such paper crafts and should focus on the use of Core’dinations ColorCore Cardstock. Entitle the blog posting “My Core’dinations Creative Frenzy”. Feel free to include step out photos or step-by-step instructions of any techniques that you used that you feel need highlighting.

For the first time, we are opening up the Fiskars Craft Design Team to an open public call. We want to see your innovative, inspirational, and amazing projects – sewing and paper crafting.
What we are looking for:
Crisp, clean, bold and innovative projects that reflect our core design aesthetic.
Creative and innovative uses for our tools – show us things we had no idea a punch or rotary cutter could create.
Passionate storytellers and excellent writing skills. You will be writing project directions, as well as articles.
Sophisticated photography skills – we need high resolution photos at no less than 1000 pixels wide that are on clean backgrounds, crisp, and well-lit for proper displaying on our website.
People who are paper crafters, as well as sewers and quilters, and invite you to respond with submissions of your best work in your medium.

Provide 3 samples of your work through high-res photos, with multiple angles if needed to capture all aspects of the projects. These can either be all fabric, all paper, or a mix of the two if you are proficient in both.
Provide written directions, with step-outs, including photo step-outs (again high-res) of one of the sample projects. (See project gallery on fiskars.com for examples)
Write an article about the creation of, story behind, importance of… one of the other 2 sample items. (See article section on fiskars.com for examples)
Use the third project to show us a unique and innovative tool use – paper piecing, appliqué, etc… Please describe, but specific directions are not needed for this piece.
All 3 samples and application are due by April 19th, 2011 noon CST.

Now is your chance, and here is what we are looking for and how to submit:
This call is open from March 21, 2011 through April 15th, 2011.

I hope to announce the newest Design Team on my blog on June 1, 2011 or July 1, 2011, depending on how quickly requirements are sent in.

I am looking to fill several spots at this time. The most needed being a Vintage/Distress Arts Kat, but others are needed as well!

Within these positions I am looking for skills in Altering, Repurposing items, Vintage/Distress Looks, knowledge in celebrating US Holidays and Events, skills in working with Sketches, and showing different styles in creating Layouts, Cards and Altered Projects.

My Expectations of Designers:
- Open communication skills.
- Consistent style with range and ability to design and tell "stories" to our readers/followers about your creation, sign it in your own peachy way and list your supplies.
- Teamwork, cooperation and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Skills to create layouts, cards and altered projects on an experienced level.
- Skills to teach techniques with written instructions and step by step photos for your altered projects and any blog hop projects.
- Photography skills to produce clear,straight, and accurate photos of your projects.
- To advertise on your blog that you are a "Peachy Kat" as soon as you are introduced on the blog! (this is very important for both of us to get exposure)

Design Team Requirements:
- The Most Important! You must NOT to Post anything you do for LGP prior to it being posted on LGP!!!
- Active participation in our yahoo group including the message board, photo album and files. (This is a must for all.)
- 1 Challenge, 1 to 2 Assignment for your position & if needed an extra assignment not dealing with your position every month.
- Suggest any challenge Ideas to me to choose from on a Monthly basis.
-To "Rock" both the "I'm a Peachy Kat" and the "Let's Get Peachy" buttons on your blog, one of them having to have a link back to my blog.

Term: May 2011-October 2011

Scrapdango is looking for enthusiastic artists to join its Design Team. Scrapdango is a monthly scrapbook kit club with exciting scrapbook kits and products from leading manufacturers. If you love scrapbooking and want to be on our Design Team, then please apply.

Design Team Applications are due no later than midnight April 15, 2011. Announcements will be made shortly after this. Our new designers will cover a six-month term beginning in May 2011 and will design with 6 kits through October 2011.

DT Expectations:

*Designers are required to submit a minimum of 3 layouts and an altered project or two-three cards each month. At least one of the layouts each month must be a two-page spread. Layouts need to be done in time for the design reveal on the 15th of each month. You will typically receive your kit around the 1st of the month and have two weeks to complete your projects for the reveal, but occasionally time lines may be shorter due to product availability. 12X12 layout size is preferred.

*Provide a sketch for at least one of your layouts each month. This is an extremely important part of the DT duties and must be completed in a timely manner each month so that I can get the design sheets that go out with the kits put together.

*Designers must also participate in posting QOTD/SQOTD and posting on the Scrapdango Blog based on a rotating schedule.

*Contribute monthly to the newsletter. Some months, you may not have to contribute but being ready with ideas for articles, tips and techniques, tutorials is helpful.

*Active participation on our Scrapdango Forum. Only those applicants who join and are actively participating on our Message Board will be considered. We want to have an opportunity to get to know you and for you to get to know our online community. This will help to assure a good fit.

*Must be 18 years of age or older.

Each Design Team Member receives a full kit (either Sugar or Spice) to create with each month.

This call is open to everyone, however international residents outside of Canada will be asked to pay a portion of the shipping on their kits. They will receive a $7.00 credit toward shipping and will be asked to pay for the remainder.

10) Depending on the team chosen, I may appoint a Blog Coordinator and Newsletter coordinator. Please consider whether you are interested in applying for one of these and tell us which position(s) and your skills and experience related to the position(s).

1) Provide three layouts that you feel best capture your style (one must be a two-page layout). These can be previously completed layouts.
2) Please come up with your own challenge and create an example layout to go with it. This must be a new challenge and project created for this call.
3) Create your own sketch to show your sketch skills. This can be a previously created sketch as long as it was created by you. Sketches would preferably be done by computer. These can easily be done using Photoshop Elements or Photoshop, MS Word, Powerpoint and many other programs.

SP and Company Stamps is a brand new stamp company and is looking to add members to it's design team! We are looking to add members of all skill levels and styles. We need card makers AND scrapbookers. Members of the SP and Company Design Team are always compensated with wonderful products each month.

We're looking for designers:

That LOVE to stamp and would love to use SP and Company Stamps on their projects.
Who are willing to promote SP and Company whenever and where ever possible.
That will turn in their projects in a timely manner and will blog about them (must have a blog).
Team members will be responsible for:

Chatting in the SP Forum and encouraging members and help them as needed on a day to day basis.
Card makers would be responsible for 8 cards per month (2 cards per week).

For the first time, we are opening up the Fiskars Craft Design Team to an open public call. We want to see your innovative, inspirational, and amazing projects – sewing and paper crafting.
What we are looking for:
Crisp, clean, bold and innovative projects that reflect our core design aesthetic.
Creative and innovative uses for our tools – show us things we had no idea a punch or rotary cutter could create.
Passionate storytellers and excellent writing skills. You will be writing project directions, as well as articles.
Sophisticated photography skills – we need high resolution photos at no less than 1000 pixels wide that are on clean backgrounds, crisp, and well-lit for proper displaying on our website.
People who are paper crafters, as well as sewers and quilters, and invite you to respond with submissions of your best work in your medium.

Design Team Expectations:

Designers are expected to:
Create content for the Fiskars website monthly
Use only Fiskars tools
Provide all directions and high resolution step-out photos
Provide class project ideas for events. Include directions, photos, and project sample(s) (Approximately 1-2 times per year max.)
Refrain from participating on other design teams or work for any other tool manufacturer that is in direct competition with Fiskars Brands, Inc. (If you have questions or concerns about this, please ask for clarification)
Provide display items for trade and consumer show booths as needed
Provide projects for customer-specific requests (ie, Jo-Ann Fabrics)
Create projects for new product packaging upon request

Other duties:

As appropriate, and within FTC guidelines, we encourage you to post on your personal blogs, Facebook pages, and Twitter accounts sharing news about Fiskars products along with your projects.
Designers are paid per project. Compensation information will be provided to those in the final running for placement on our team.

Workshop and product demonstrations/promotions are conducted over the weekend, learning new techniques and gaining heaps of ideas and inspiration. NEW CALL: MULTI-PHOTO LAYOUT CHALLENGE

Here is your opportunity to do a Challenge using more than one photo. If you love using multiple photos on your layouts, you can find inspiration at Multi-Photo Scrapbook Layouts Gallery Blog via the link http://multiphotoscrapbooklayouts.blogspot.com/.

We are running a challenge called CHALLENGE 1,2,3,4 and it works as follows. You are to create a layout using:-

1 border/edge/corner punch feature;

2 different embellishments being chipboard (not lettering) and pearls;

3 photos - any size;

4 different pieces of cardstock and patterned paper, with one of them being a circle and one of the pieces is to be edge distressed.

This is the minimum requirements for your layout - you can certainly add more to make the page your own. You have until 31 March to submit your layout and then votes will be taken and the winner announced around 7 April. A great prize pack is on offer.

So get those photos and papers ready and give the Challenge a go – we are looking forward to seeing how each of you interpret the instruction and receiving your gorgeous layouts.

Hello to all scrapbookers out there,once again scrapbudz is on the look out for 3 new Designers to join our team .We are a challenge blog with fortnightly challenges.
We are looking for 3 girls to join us for a 3 month term you MUST and I strongly stress MUST be able and willing to commit to a roster and to doing your part on the team , you will be required at this stage to do 2 challenges per month one being a colour challenge thats called LATTE AND CREAM and the other is a sketch .
You will also be required on a roster basis to post to the blog on a set day something you have created thats never been posted to a blog or gallery before , this may be something you created last year or something you create specially for our site .

My Creative Scrapbook is happy to announce:

“Our First Ever Public Guest Design Team Call”

The call is open from February 16, 2011 through March 16, 2011.
We will announce the new Guest Design Team on our blog and in our forum on April 5, 2011.
We are looking to fill spots for Guest Design Team positions but hint, hint, we have chosen our permanent DT members from our past Guest DT members.
Within these positions we are looking for skills in creating layouts, mini albums, cards, altered items and sketches.
We would like to have 2 Guest designers per month and we are hoping to find enough fantastic designers to create with us for 6 months. So that means that we need 12 Guest Designers total. Once we have made our choices then we will assign each Guest Designer their month.
We want you…”if”…you are a creative, energetic, and ambitious and want to have fun creating with us.

Our Expectations of Guest Designers:
- Open communication skill.
- Consistent style and range and ability to design and showcase our kit supplies.
- Teamwork, cooperation and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to create layouts, cards and altered projects on a more experienced skill level.
- Ability to teach techniques with written instructions and/or step by step photos or video.
- Photography skills to produce clear and accurate photos of your projects.

Guest Design Team Requirements:
- Active participation in our forum including the message board and galleries. (This is a must for all.)
- 3 Layouts and 1 card/altered item per kit per month.
- Step by step picture or video tutorial to share with our members in our forum on a rotating basis using a kit.
- Head up challenges for our members in our forum on a rotating basis.
- Give a tip each month from a project you created using our kit.
- Note: We ask that you “not” Design/Guest Design for another kit club while with My Creative Scrapbook but MFG teams and Online Sketch sites…etc. are fine.

To be considered for the team, you will need to submit pictures of 5 projects, a "SHORT" essay (500 words or less) titled "Why I will be a great addition to the Donna Salazar Design Team", your scrappy/crafty resume, your bio (please include a short paragraph on "How my friends describe me" and contact information (phone and e-mail necessary to contact the new team members).

For the 5 projects, submit what you consider to be your best work (and the projects don't need to be new). Of the 5 projects, 1 should be a layout, 1 should be a card and 1 should be an altered item (you get to decide what the extra 2 projects will be). Please see website for product requirement.

IMPORTANT! Please keep your images to approximately 500kb (knowing how to re-size your photos gives you a slight advantage over other submissions)

Before you submit, please keep in mind that as one of my DT members you will be required to create 3 projects using 70% Donna Salazar Designs product and/or tools EACH month. You will be asked to interact with people on the Facebook group page, and twice a year you will be asked to make as many projects as possible for the CHA tradeshows.

As a DT member you will be able to create with the newest "Donna Salazar Designs" product and/or tools before the public gets a chance to even see them. You will be shipped the unreleased product and/or tools manufactured by Zutter, Spellbinders, Clearsnap and GCD Studios twice a year (before each CHA tradeshow). As a bonus, several projects are usually picked up for publication at each of the shows.

Who We Are: Creative Soup (creativesoup.forumotion.com) is a scrapbook challenge forum whose goal is to challenge and inspire scrapbookers to create, create, create!

The Creative Team Requirements:
1. To create 1-2 projects per month for our challenges. Each team member will be assigned 1 challenge in advance that they must complete. If something comes up and you cannot do the challenge on time we ask that you find someone to swap challenges with or someone to cover for you. You are encouraged to do at least one additional challenge of your choice but this is not required.
2. Participate on the forum by checking in a few times a week and posting ideas, layouts, and responses to members’ questions or threads. You are not required to be on the forum every day... but we do hope to see a regular presence on the board.
3. Positively represent the board by sharing links to the site where you can (including blogs and forums) and by conducting yourself on the forum in a friendly manner.
4. Creative Team term is 3 months (April-Jun 2011), with an option to extend to 6 months if both sides choose. Members can serve no more than six consecutive months on the Creative Team as we like to keep the Creative Team fresh!

How to Apply: *Due Friday March 11th*

1. Projects: please send 3 favorite projects to creativesoupforum@gmail.com. These projects must be your original work. At least 2 should be layouts. We would love to see something non-layout like a mini or a card, but a third layout is fine if you prefer to do layouts. NEW CALL: QUEENSLAND SCRAPBOOKING RETREATS – NEXT RETREAT

BOOK NOW FOR NEXT RETREAT IN APRIL – SPACES LIMITED

Have you ever wanted to just get away with a group of like-minded crafters on a weekend to spend a whole weekend scrapbooking? Come along and join us on one of our weekends away, scrapping and working on your papercraft and off the page projects at great venues with delicious food, comfortable and affordable accommodation and lots of laughs from fellow crafters. All venues are in the South East Queensland area.
The next Retreat is scheduled for 29 April to 2 May 2011 at Kilcoy commencing on Friday afternoon at 5pm through to Monday afternoon at 2pm. 2 day packages are also available.

Our guest artist for this Retreat is Michelle Jamieson who will be teaching one of her amazing layouts on Saturday morning. Michelle has been published in Scrapbooking Memories magazine as a Scrapbooking Master and is a member of several design teams. Michelle’s class & kit are included in the cost of the weekend.

Workshop and product demonstrations/promotions are conducted over the weekend, learning new techniques and gaining heaps of ideas and inspiration. There will be Challenges with great prizes to be earned by the winners; lucky door prizes, raffles and a few surprises. NEW CALL: 2011 DESIGN TEAM CALL for DOWNUNDER DIRECT

We are pleased to announce a new 2011 call for design team members for DownUnder Direct Wholesale.

Our design colleagues will have the privilege of not just designing with any scrapbook item but will partner with the industry’s leading quality and superior products.

These will include the Pinnacle Brands of Bazzill Basics Paper, Spellbinders, Swarovski, and JustRite stamps.

What is the criteria to enter:
Have your own blog to showcase work – (see below this section)
Be computer savvy to be able to upload to our blog if necessary training provided-(see below this section)
DON’T need to have had your work published
All submissions must be your own original work.
Although the above is a crucial requirement one Member will also be chosen where we don’t need you to have any blog, your work not published or have any “recognition” of the beautiful work you do. We will simply want to give you an opportunity to “shine” with us.
You may NOT own a profit/trading craft business however you can be an employee in the industry. This is purely design only.

What will be the workload requirement for the winning members:
Must be able to produce 2 x cards, 2 x layouts and 1 x OTP each month
Plus One tutorial every two months.
(If you are selected for just cardmaking or layouts only ..then the
requirement will be 4 x cards OR 4 x layouts per month plus the OTP and tutorial)

How do I submit my designs:
Via email only with images not larger then 2MB each image.

How many samples of my work do I send:
Please send us four items: 2 x card samples 2 x layout samples.

How many rounds will be involved in the design call:
Two ..possibly three
What are the prizes for the winning members:
A prize package containing Bazzill Basics Paper
Spellbinder and Justrite products to the retail value of $100

All submissions will be viewed and judged with the following criteria:
Design appeal
Overall quality and elegance.
Good use and representation of the products we sell.
Your ability to communicate to consumers in the blog world.

Is there a theme to follow for submission:
No… round one is simply samples of your work for us to choose you to move to round two.
If you qualify to round two we will then begin to ask for specifics.

How long will I be required to work on the team:
12 months

Do I need to submit anything else other then my work:
Yes. Please include in your submission a short reason why you feel you would like to be on our team.

Will there be any other work involved:
Yes you MAY be asked to design work for our product advertisements if required.

Will I be reporting directly to DownUnder Direct or will there be a team co-ordinator:
Yes you will be required to report to a team co-ordinator.

NEW CALL: SCRAPBUDZ FORUM CLOSURE

Hi everyone well our scrapbudz forum is going to be coming to a close at the end of Jan , but we are bringing it and the challenges over here to the blog .
So by now most of our forum members should be following us here and in the coming weeks the DT will be putting up the fist lot of challenges for the month of Feb. We will be having our all time favourite challenge LATTE AND CREAM that's kindly set by the darling Annette Gearside each month.

NEW CALL: Paper Inklings DT Call

We are excited to finally announce that we are now looking for our first "official" Design Team!

Six creative souls will be chosen to produce projects for a six-month period, using our product ranges which consist predominately of printed paper, rub-ons and chipboard. If you are interested, please email to create@paperinklings.com.au, the following...

1. TWO of your favourite single page layouts that you feel best displays your scrapping style. Products used do not have to be Paper Inklings, however we would like to see how you creatively use printed paper, rub-ons and chipboard throughout the projects you submit.

2. ONE double page layout as above

3. ONE Project of choice. This could be a card, mini album, frame, or any Off-The-Page project. If OTP isn't your thing, that is totally fine, just send us another layout.

4. A really brief bio of yourself. Just include your name, suburb and state, and if you are currently or have been on any design teams previously.

5. The link to your scrapping blog if you have one...but if you don't you will not be disadvantaged. We are encouraging everyone to apply so if you are new to the scrapping world, please do not be shy to apply.

Have you ever wanted to put together an album about that special place in your heart you call home but didn’t really know where to start? Would you like to look at the wider picture of how we fit into where we live and interact with the people who share the common ground around us on a daily basis? What are the things we see and the places we attend regularly (but somehow never really notice) that make a neighbourhood or community what it is?

Join Jane Howden in 2011 on Scrap Beginnings for a FREE 12 month class where we will take a journey of discovery through our own communities and document our daily lives. There will be a monthly downloadable pdf filled with prompts and ideas, example layouts and sketches to give you inspiration and a set of monthly challenges - complete with prizes - in which to participate. This workshop is for everyone – how you approach the process is entirely up to you - paper, digital, journal, blog, whichever makes you happy.

Class begins on January 8.

To enter you need to:

1. Register as a new member (forum) before 15th January 2011.
2. Participate in the forum chat as much as possible - we are going to make Red Earth Scrapping the most exciting place to be in the cyber-scrapping world.
3. Be committed for a period of at least 6 months from 1st February 2011.

What does a Creative Team member have to do?
You will be required to create a sample page of each month's challenge for inspiration, which must be emailed to me BEFORE the 1st of each month - you will receive approx a month to do each page.
You will be required to promote the STG challenge every month on your personal blog.
STG CT members also have to vote each month to determine the challenge winners.
STG CT members are not eligible to win monthly prizes whilst they are on the team.
Successful applicants will be notified by email on the 12th of January 2011, and will be required to complete their 1st layout as a CT member by the 31st January 2011.
The term starts 1st of Feb 2011 and runs for 6 months.

The Paper Variety is seeking creative crafters who would like to join our Design Team!
We're looking for 4-6 new smiles to share their love of paper crafting and inspiring others - artists of all styles and experience levels. If you love paper and enjoy using it to create a variety of projects, then we hope to hear from you!

Here are a few DT requirements:
Be able to create a variety of paper projects including layouts, cards, mini-albums, altered items, banners, decorative pieces, gift bags etc.
Submit a project every 2 weeks which follows the scheduled challenges

Post current TPV challenges and your projects on your blog, linking TPV and sharing sponsor information
Use mostly current products on your projects (introduced within the past 2 years)

“Your Place in the Sun” – a free 12 month workshop on Scrap Beginnings

Have you ever wanted to put together an album about that special place in your heart you call home but didn’t really know where to start? Would you like to record the things you see and the places you go regularly within your community but have always taken for granted as they are just part of everyday life? Would you like to see the wider picture of how we fit into where we live and how exactly we interact with the people around us who share the same common ground as we do on a daily basis?

Then please join me in on Scrap Beginnings for a free 12-month class called “Your Place in the Sun” where you will explore your own community, be it in the rural countryside, urban suburbs or high-density city living. You will soon discover a deeper understanding of the area in which you live by looking at familiar sites with new eyes. We will look at the history of your community, its attractions and its facilities through monthly extensive pdf downloads loaded with prompts and ideas. Each month will focus on a different topic (or topics) and include inspirational layouts, sketch bundles with digital templates to download, interesting facts and a series of challenges to get you started. There will be monthly prizes up for grabs and a gallery for you to share all your work. At the end of the year I hope you will have a wonderful album of completed layouts to record your life in your own community. Not only will you have a very special project to share with your family but you will have learnt new things about yourself, your neighbourhood and also about your fellow class members and the places they call home.

Angella will be teaching a class at QCCC Brookfield (just 20 mins from Brisbane city) on Saturday 27 November commencing at 9:30am. Cost of the class is $45 which includes the kit and morning tea.
